Competition Guidelines
Everything you need to know about FIFA 2026 Prediction YFC Tharayil
Special Prizes for Top 3
The 1st, 2nd, and 3rd positions on the final leaderboard will receive special prizes based on their ranking.
How the Game Works
- Register with any valid email address.
- Get approved by a YFC Tharayil administrator before you can predict.
- View upcoming matches and check when the prediction window opens and closes.
- Submit your prediction before the deadline — predict the score for each team. For knockout draws, also pick the penalty winner.
- Earn points when official results are entered after each match.
- Climb the leaderboard — highest total points wins. Tied points share the same rank.
Point Calculation
Points are awarded automatically when match results are published.

Special Tournament Predictions
Admins may publish extra questions such as Who will win the trophy? or Who will win the Golden Boot?
- Each question includes rules & regulations set by the admin.
- You submit one answer only per question before the end time.
- Your answer stays hidden until the admin publishes the official result.
- Points are set by the admin for each question and awarded after publishing.
Detailed Guidelines
Eligibility
Participation is open to YFC Tharayil members and invited participants. Any valid email address is accepted.
Registration & Accounts
- Each participant may maintain only one account.
- Sharing accounts is prohibited.
- New registrations require admin approval before you can log in and predict.
- Password resets use a secure link from your administrator (valid 48 hours, single use).
Prediction Rules
- Predictions can only be submitted during the active prediction window for each match.
- All times are in India Standard Time (IST). Your local time may also be shown for convenience.
- Predictions lock automatically when the deadline passes — no exceptions.
- You may edit your prediction any time before the window closes.
Group Stage Predictions
- How many goals will Team A score?
- How many goals will Team B score?
Knockout Stage Predictions
- Same as group stage — predict the score after extra time (120 minutes). If you predict a draw, you must also choose the penalty winner.
- Official scores are based on extra time (120 minutes) — penalty goals do not count toward the score.
Leaderboard & Rankings
- Rankings are based on total points across all matches.
- If two or more players have the same points, they receive the same rank (e.g. two players at 120 pts both rank #1, next player is #3).
- Top 3 leaderboard titles: Champion Predictor, Elite Analyst, Rising Oracle.
Fair Play
- Do not exploit bugs or attempt unauthorized access.
- Fraudulent activity may result in suspension or disqualification.
- System score calculations are final once results are entered.
Technical Responsibility
You are responsible for submitting predictions before the deadline. YFC Tharayil organisers are not liable for missed predictions due to internet or device issues.
Administrator Authority
YFC Tharayil administrators have final authority over user approvals, match results, corrections, disputes, and rule interpretations.
